Christmas Eve is here. You know the time...

It's the most frustrating time of the year!

Childern are whining, presents need buying, and relatives are here!

It's the most frustrating time of the year!

   Sound familiar? Through all the hubbub of Christmas Eve, and on Christmas, we seem to forget why we even celebrate. And it's not so kids can open presents and we can gain 5 pounds. It's because our Savior was born, He came to rescue us in the form of an infant.

   I think Christmas Eve must have been some night for Mary and Joseph. First of all, Mary must have been tired and irritable (She was human, we seem to forget that) yet excited and filled with awe. Christmas Eve in my opinion was an exciting, but restless, tiring night.

   The Christmas Eve the sermon really spoke to me. It was all about that background inn keeper who had no room. We talked about how maybe he was scared, maybe he was busy, or maybe he didn't like their story. It's kind of like us, are we too busy this Christmas to except the true meaning? Are we scared about giving up our time and such for Him this year? Do we like this crazy story enough to give up part of ourselves?

I challenge you to stop having a commercial, "Augustus" Christmas, and not have any room for the Lord. Open your heart and you will have the best Christmas present ever. Ever.

Thoughts About God....and what I have learned

I've learned that God comes softly....

I've learned that he isn't going to just speak directly to you and tell you He is God.....most of the time

I've learned that he has a bigger plan.....

I've  learned that he is always watching....

I've learned that he isn't always going to physiclly proctect you...he'll do more

I've learned that he is hurting even more than you are hurting about your problem

I've learned that he is creative......

I've learned that I can never learn enough.

Wow

   Leave it to God...He has his ways. For instance, I wasn't going to write on here anymore. Once I saw all the people who look on here (who cares if it was once only?) I've decided to write on here again. Don't expect me to often. Why did I just put that? Who knows, maybe I'll write on here everyday. I'll just leave it to God. Heaven

Andy, the dog, has died. But he's in a better place. I know he's running and maybe playing fetch with Jesus? Anyway, I know I'll see him again and I hope you will too. We have a lot to look forward too in Heaven don't we? The book of Revelations describes it quite clearly, and I can tell you, it will be amazing! Wouldn't it be just such a miracle to just see Heaven? If you could just visit and not worry, not to be sad, just to be purely happy? Purely content? If your having trouble believing Heaven, read this:

You don't just ask any four year old about Heaven and him to practically recite what Revelations says about Heaven. The book really is amazing. I encourage you to read it.

A Test Of Faith

We are tested everyday for our faith in God. There are manay different types of tests. For example, standing up for God, having couarge to share the word, or leaving things in God's hands. Lately, it seems as though I've been having to do that more than ever. The first thing I'll mention later. But right now my Mom's dog that lives with my grandparents is really sick. He can't move. He can't see. He won't even drink water. The dog is almost twice my age, (In human years, yes) and I really want the vet to heal him. But I can't do anything. We often don't want toleave things in God's hands, we feel we can "do something" if we take over the situation. But God can do most. I encourage you to leave things in God's hands. And please pray for Andy, the dog.

Why Don't People Get it?

  Doesn't just puzzle you why people don't get Christianity? I mean, just watch a two minute interview about the kid from "Heaven Is For Real". How did he know all that stuff? HE WENT TO JESUS CHRIST'S PARADISE!!!!!!! It make you angry when you think about it. How long will we have to wait? How long did God have to wait for you though? Even if you accepted Christ at 5, God knew you when time began. Before even. Don't get angry, be patient.

Glorify God In All You Do

It's me again, Savannah.

  You know how we should glorify God in all we do? Well, we should. And everyone, I'm sure, can think of how to do that in everything. But obviously we don't! If you paint, you should paint for God, etc. I'm writing a book, and it doesn't glorify God! Deciding to glorify God can be much harder than actually doing it. Let's take a challenge. Try to glorify God for a day. See how it turns out. Then put that picture on your website. The words say iBelieve, Peace, Love, and faith.
